VDA visit to Station F

Station F: The world’s biggest startup campus, 34,000 sq meters of utopia for any young (or old!) entrepreneur. All this in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. From the outside, Station F is just as impressive as it is on the inside. And while tours need to be scheduled weeks in advance to visit this innovative place, last February 15th TOLSON organised a unique event for our VDA members.

We began with a tour of Station F. Did you know that Station F hosts a start-up area of more than 3,000 workstations, 1 marketplace, 26 international support and acceleration programs, event spaces and several food courts, meeting spaces, a restaurant, 3 bars and a 370-seat auditorium? Plus, Station F hosts essential services for startups: investment funds, a fablab, 3-D printers and public administration support services (URSSAF, French Tech, visa help, etc…)

After our tour we met with 4 vibrant and innovative startups: Crafty, Prevision.io, Startup Flow and The Price Hub.
Following their pitch, we had an excellent discussion on how large companies, specifically the Procurement Function, and startups can work better together.
